Those interested in attending the Orange County Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, July 2, 2026, are advised that parking at the Public Safety Building will remain available during the Playin’ in the Park Independence Celebration at Booster Park. Playin’ in the Park opens at 5:00 p.m., and the Planning Commission meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Increased traffic can be expected.
While the two activities will share access via Bloomsbury Road, parking volunteers will be aware and able to direct attendees to the proper location. Volunteers will be members of the Orange County High School Football Team. They will accept freewill donations from Playin’ in the Park attendees to benefit the football program.
