Morgan Brooke Duty from Lebanon was crowned Miss Virginia Teen USA 2019 on Nov. 25 at the TCC Roper Performing Arts Center in Norfolk. She is a junior at Honaker High School where she has an advanced diploma and plays basketball. Courtney Lynne Smits from Woodbridge was crowned Miss Virginia USA 2019. Other area achievements: Rachael McGeorge from Grundy was fourth runner-up for Miss Virginia. Madison Ramsey from Castlewood was named Miss Virginia Teen USA 2019 Miss Congeniality. Miss Virginia USA and Miss Virginia Teen USA 2019 won scholarships from Emory & Henry College, King University, the University of Virginia College at Wise, Hollins University and Liberty University. In addition to the scholarship opportunities, a long list of prizes, and a trip to the nationally televised 2019 MISS USA Pageant, Miss Virginia USA 2019 will drive a new 2019 Mercedes-Benz throughout her year courtesy of Mercedes Benz of Kingsport, Tennessee/Rick Hill Imports.
