The Holston duo of Quaheim Brooks (24 points) and Cortlyn Keith (11 points) led the Cavaliers to a season-opening doubleheader sweep of Council on Friday afternoon. In Thursday games, Sullivan East's Emma Aubrey scored 15 points for the Patriots against Unaka. Other top performances included Rye Cove's Ethan Chavez, the Twin Springs duo of Connor Lane and Bradley Owens and Thomas Walker's Lakin Burke.
