Neil is an 11 year-old, fifth grade student at Morrison School in Bristol, Virginia. He enjoys reading, writing, drawing, hiking, spending time with his family and attending church services.

Neil’s love of family and friends inspired him to write the story on the presence of family and friends, not presents from family and friends. Even though Neil has not seen the movie, the preview of “Arthur Christmas” inspired him to write about his uncle being Santa Claus. He was also inspired by other holiday characters such as Jack Frost, Buddy the Elf, etc.

Neil’s parents are Mark and Julie Osborne.
