LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to its existing Annual Review Mechanism tariﬀ, Atmos Energy Corporation (the Company) ﬁled a Petition with the Tennessee Public Utility Commission (TPUC) on February 1, 2021 in Docket 21-00019, proposing to change its rates for natural gas service now in eﬀect. The rates proposed by the Company are subject to approval by the TPUC. The TPUC may adopt, reject, increase or decrease any of the proposed rates in part or in whole. A complete copy of the proposed rate changes and the reasons for them are on ﬁle with the TPUC and are available for public inspection. A complete copy is also available in the Company’s local oﬃces. The Company has requested this change in rates in accordance with the procedures approved in its Annual Review Mechanism tariﬀ. The predicted impact of the proposed changes on the average residential customer is an increase of approximately $ 40.51 per year. The predicted impact of the proposed changes on the average small commercial class customer is an increase of approximately $180.74 per year. The matter is set for hearing May 10th, 2021, beginning at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as it may be heard. Due to COVID-19, it is yet to be determined whether the hearing be conducted by video-teleconference on in person in the TPUC’s Hearing Room on the ground ﬂoor of the Andrew Jackson State Oﬃce Building, 500 Deaderick Street, Nashville, Tennessee. Public Notice of the ﬁnal date, time, and manner of the hearing will be posted on the TPUC webpage on or about May 3, 2021. The Company’s current and proposed rates are as follows and do not include gas cost that is recovered through the Purchased Gas Adjustment.
