WASHINGTON COUNTY, VA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS The Washington County Virginia Department of Zoning Administration has received the following applications, which require public hearings before the Washington County Planning Commission. The Public Hearings will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard. The Washington County Board of Supervisors will then conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. 1) Milton Fisher, Property Tax Map # 071-A-4: Request for a Special Exception Permit to construct and operate a custom woodwork and hardwood manufacturing facility on 7.83 acres, located at 36238 Lee Highway, Glade Spring, Virginia 24340, at the intersection of U. S. Route 11 (Lee Highway) and State Route 7511 (Kilmachronan Drive) in the A-2 (Agricultural, General) zoning district, Monroe Magisterial District, Monroe (D-11) Election District. 2) Austin & Hannah Cruey, Property Tax Map # 091-5-20: Request to rezone approximately 2.17 acres of property located at 15355 Blueberry Lane, Chilhowie, Virginia 24319, off of State Route 762 (Loves Mill Road) from the R-2 (Residential, General) zoning district to the A-1 (Agricultural, Limited) zoning district, Taylor Magisterial District, Taylor (E-11) Election District. 3) Dennis & Patti Sanders, Property Tax Map # 091-5-22, 091-2-23, 091-5-24 & 091-5-25: Request to rezone approximately 9.05 acres of property located at 15328 Blueberry Lane, Chilhowie, Virginia 24319, off of State Route 762 (Loves Mill Road) from the R-2 (Residential, General) zoning district to the A-1 (Agricultural, Limited) zoning district, Taylor Magisterial District, Taylor (E-11) Election District. The public hearings will be held in the Board of Supervisors Auditorium at the County Administration Offices located at 1 Government Center Place; Abingdon, Virginia.
